STOCKTON, CA (August 4, 2021) – A firefighter sustained injuries in an accident on Pershing Avenue on August 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at West March Lane around 2:00 AM.
 
Based on reports, the Stockton Fire Department firefighter was in a fire truck responding to a structure fire. Due to unknown reasons, the firetruck collided with an unidentified car. Subsequently, the tiller on the truck’s trailer ripped off with the driver inside. Then, the truck crashed into a nearby real estate office.
 
As a result, the firefighter suffered a broken femur and bruised spleen. Paramedics sent the victim and the other driver to the hospital for treatment.
