SACRAMENTO, CA (March 2, 2021) — An accident on Highway 50 near Stockton Boulevard left two vehicles on fire Friday night in Sacramento.
 
According to the authorities, it appeared that the crash involved a sedan and a truck. It was not clear, however, whether there were injuries sustained in the incident.
 
Crews worked to extinguish the flames and cleared the roadway of the damaged vehicles and debris. Three westbound lanes on Highway 50 remained blocked while the emergency response was ongoing.
 
Despite the lanes reopening at about 6:10 p.m., traffic delays were still experienced in the area.
