LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA (May 24, 2021) – Two people were airlifted in a two-vehicle accident on 5 Freeway in Los Angeles County Friday morning.
 
The accident happened on May 21, near Pyramid Lake and the Vista Del Lago exit. According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
Deputies at the scene requested an air ambulance to transport two patients to a hospital. The victims were an adult and a child, authorities described them as a father and a daughter.
 
A ground ambulance took two other victims to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
