SAN BERNARDINO, CA (October 12, 2021) — A 48-year-old woman identified as Esmeralda Maldonado died in a crash on Wednesday, October 6.
 
Reports said that at around 7:24 pm, officers with San Bernardino Police Department rushed to North Sepulveda Avenue and East Baseline Street.
 
Medics also responded to the scene and rushed the San Bernardino resident to St. Bernardine Medical Center. Medical personnel pronounced her dead on the same day at 7:56 p.m.
 
There were no reports on how the incident transpired.
 
Officials did not release if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
