Pedestrian Erne Santiago Hit, Killed by Car in Brentwood Accident

 
BRENTWOOD, CA (May 12, 2022) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on San Vicente Boulevard near Burlingame Avenue on Monday morning, May 2.
 
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner identified the victim as as 54-year-old Erne de la Torre Santiago of La Puente.
 
According to reports, the fatal accident happened around 6:50 a.m. near the Brentwood Country Club at the 12800 block of West San Vicente Boulevard.
 
A vehicle traveling westbound crash into Santiago, who had just parked and was exiting his vehicle.
 
The driver remained at the scene and contacted the authorities.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and declared Santiago dead on the scene.
