Passenger Dies after Car Crashes on 215 Freeway near 9th Street

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 15, 2022) – Eric Dewayne Hamilton Jr. was killed in a car accident on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino, early Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 3:58 a.m. on February 13 near 9th Street. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, a car was traveling on the freeway when it crashed for unknown reasons.
 
Hamilton, a 22-year-old Fontana resident, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a passenger in the car.
 
The condition of the driver was not immediately available.
 
Several factors surrounding this fatality remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the circumstances of this crash.
