Police Arrest 37-Year-Old Woman for DUI after Crash in Anderson Injuring 3 People

 
ANDERSON, CA (March 22, 2022) – Police arrested Emily Hendry for DUI after a head-on car accident in Anderson on Thursday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:33 p.m. on March 16 in the area of Balls Ferry Road and Davey Way. According to the Anderson Police Department, the 37-year-old suspect from Cottonwood was driving a vehicle when she collided head-on with another car.
 
As a result of the crash, three people in the second car suffered moderate injuries. Paramedics took them to a local hospital for treatment.
 
Police later arrested Hendry on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in injury. They booked her into the Shasta County Jail in Redding.
 
An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
