Elijah Richards Detained in DUI Crash near Victor Avenue and Marlene Avenue

 
REDDING, CA (September 22, 2021) — Elijah Richards faces charges in a DUI accident near Victor Avenue and Marlene Avenue Sunday evening.
 
According to reports, the incident happened around 7:23 p.m. For DUI reasons, Richards struck another vehicle with his 2010 Dodge Caliber. Fortunately, neither the parties in the second vehicle nor Richards suffered any known injuries.
 
Per the investigation, officers learned that Richards had just left the Lowe’s Home Improvement parking lot and recklessly followed a driver while screaming vulgarities. Subsequently, the 21-year-old deliberately drove his vehicle into the second car.
 
Soon after, authorities responded and arrested him for DUI and booked him into the Shasta County Jail.
