Elderly Man Hospitalized in Fresno Head-On Crash on Cedar Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (April 6, 2022) — An elderly man suffered serious injuries in a head-on accident on Cedar Avenue at Sierra Avenue.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, the 2-vehicle crash happened 6:00 p.m. on Monday. For unknown reasons, two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection and sustained considerable front-end damage.
 
Shortly after, paramedics reached the scene and took the elderly man to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
 
At this time, officers have not released information on the other driver’s condition and the factors that played a role in the crash. However, they have ruled out DUI as a possible source of the accident.
