Car Crashes into Tree in Altadena, Jonathan Salguero and Edwin Salguero Die in Accident

 
ALTADENA, CA (August 6, 2021) – Two people were killed in a car accident on Highway 2 in Altadena early Thursday morning.
 
The accident happened around 1:50 a.m. at milepost marker 50. According to the California Highway Patrol, an Acura sedan veered off the roadway for unknown reasons and crashed into nearby a tree.
 
21-year-old Edwin Salguero and 17-year-old Jonathan Salguero were pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office could not immediately confirm if the two were related to each other.
 
The crash remains under investigation.
