13-Year-Old Bicyclist Dies after Struck by Car in Corona

 
CORONA, CA (January 16, 2022)Edward Vazquez was killed in a bicycle accident in Corona on Thursday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. on January 13 at the intersection of Citron Street and Lincoln Avenue. According to the Corona Police Department, Vazquez was riding his bicycle through the intersection when a sedan ran into him.
 
The driver of the car immediately stopped and waited for first responders to arrive.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and rushed Vazquez to Riverside Community Hospital, where he later died, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
