NOVATO, CA (April 28, 2021) – Police arrested Edward Cox following a pedestrian accident on Alameda Del Prado on April 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Posada Del Sol at approximately 8:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the 75-year-old Novato man was traveling south on Alameda Del Prado at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he hit two pedestrians — a 4-year-old boy and his 27-year-old father.
 
As a result, the boy sustained life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews took him to Marin General Hospital and later airlifted him to an Oakland children’s hospital in critical condition. Paramedics transported his father to Marin General Hospital with major injuries.
