Semi-Truck Involved in Oxnard Accident with Pickup Truck on Rice Avenue at Camino Del Sol

 
OXNARD, CA (September 2, 2022) – Two drivers suffered injuries following an accident involving a semi-truck and a pickup on Rice Avenue on August 31.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Camino Del Sol shortly before 5:30 PM.
 
Based on reports, the semi-trailer and the pickup truck crashed in the lanes. The Oxnard Police Department and Ventura County Fire Department said the crash caused an extensive damaged on the passenger side of the pickup and it could have been fatal to someone in the passenger seat.
 
Fortunately, the passenger seat was empty and the pickup driver reported only minor injuries. In addition, the semi driver also had only minor injuries.
