Driver Pursued in Hit-and-Run Crash near Friant Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (August 30, 2022) — Police are seeking a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident near Friant Avenue and Willow Avenue on Friday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, that hit-and-run two-vehicle collision happened around 4:30 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a white car rear-ended a driver in a blue car.
 
As a result, the blue car rolled onto its roof and the white vehicle crashed into a field on the opposite side of the road.
 
Arriving authorities found the overturned blue vehicle at the scene and the driver of the white car nowhere on site.
 
Reports have not determined the leading cause of the accident, or the current state of the victims involved. However, we will update this report once we receive additional information.
