Driver, Officers Hospitalized in 2-Car Collision on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 16, 2022)— A driver and two officers were injured in a 2-car accident on Wilshire Boulevard and Hauser Boulevard.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the two-vehicle collision happened around 1:34 a.m. Thursday. For reasons that are under investigation, a Los Angeles police department patrol car crashed into a dark-colored SUV, described as a Volkswagen.
 
Soon after, paramedics brought the SUV driver and the two officers to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
According to reports, the driver informed reporters that the officers ran a red traffic light without having any sirens activated. From there, the two cars collided.
 
At this time, authorities plan to look into the details of this collision. If any witnesses have more information, please call the LAPD.
