SACRAMENTO, CA (January 26, 2022) – A driver left the scene following a car accident on La Riviera Drive on January 24.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Folsom Boulevard at approximately 5:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, a man was driving his SUV on La Riviera at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he hit two parked cars, causing his SUV to overturn. Then, he got out of his SUV through the windshield and left with his dogs.
 
At this point, the CHP is investigating the cause of the collision. Also, no further details are currently available.
