Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident on 91 Freeway in Anaheim Hills

 
ANAHEIM HILLS, CA (July 23, 2021) – A pickup truck driver died in a two-vehicle accident on 91 Freeway in Anaheim Hills Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:45 p.m. on July 21, just south of the Imperial Highway overpass. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Ford F-150 attempted to bypass traffic by driving on the westbound right shoulder when it crashed into a Ford Mustang.
 
After the crash, the driver of the pickup became trapped in the vehicle and suffered severe injuries. First responders pronounced them dead at the scene.
 
CHP officials did not indicate any other injuries sustained from the accident.
 
At this time, the factors involved in the crash remain under investigation.
