BURLINGAME, CA (December 2, 2022) — A driver died after a train hit a vehicle near Broadway Station on California Drive.
 
Marking the fourth fatality on the system recently, the fatal crash happened around 1:40 p.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a driver inside a vehicle was stopped on the tracks when train SB510 followed by train NB509 struck the vehicle near Broadway Station.
 
The unidentified victim inside the vehicle died due to injuries sustained in the crash. No passengers onboard the train reported any injuries, which included 59 passengers on train 512. However, countless commuters faced delays due to several trains being halted.
