SAN BRUNO, CA (March 1, 2022) — A driver died after a train hits a car on Scott Street near Hermann Street on Friday morning.
 
According to Caltrain, the incident occurred around 8:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, an oncoming Caltrain collided with a vehicle.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the driver of the vehicle suffered fatal injuries.
 
Although, none of the 31 passengers on board the train suffered any harm.
 
Following the accident, authorities arrived at the scene to investigate the crash. At this time, information as to what led to the incident remains unclear. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm the details.
