Single Car Involved in Fatal Accident on Panama Lane in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 12, 2021) – Police confirmed that a driver died in a car accident in the 7200 block of Panama Lane on April 10.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Powderhorn Street at approximately 10:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving a sport utility vehicle on Panama at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the SUV veered off the road. Subsequently, it hit a piece of heavy earth moving equipment on the side of the roadway.
 
As a result, the driver died in the incident. The Kern County Coroner’s Office did not yet release the identity of the victim pending kin notification.
 
As of now, no other details are available. In addition, the Bakersfield Police Department is still investigating this car accident on Panama Lane.
