Man Dead after Solo Car Accident on Normandie Avenue near 141st Street in Gardena

 
GARDENA, CA (July 25, 2022) – A driver was killed in a solo car accident on Normandie Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the Gardena Police Department, the incident happened on July 23 at about 1:02 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a southbound vehicle crossed over into the northbound lanes.
 
Then, the vehicle crashed into a wall near 141st Street. The impact of the crash ejected the driver from his vehicle.
 
Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital, where he later died. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
