Driver Dies in Needles Car Accident on Highway 95

 
NEEDLES, CA (February 9, 2021) — A driver was killed in a car accident on Highway 95 near Mile Marker 79 on January 29.
 
According to a coroner press release, the fatal accident happened around 9:30 a.m.
 
When California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene, they learned that a semi-truck and a sedan had collided. In addition, they quickly learned that the driver of the sedan had died in the accident.
 
However, authorities have no information as to what drove the accident. In addition, the identity and residence of the victim who died have not been released pending notification of family members.
 
If anyone has more information on this accident on Highway 95, please contact the CHP. In the meantime, the Needles office will be investigating this case further.
