Driver Dies in 2-Car Crash at Highway 152 in Madera County

 
MADERA COUNTY, CA (December 15, 2022) — A driver died in a 2-car accident at Highway 152 and Road 16.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 7:00 a.m. Tuesday. For unknown reasons, a driver of a Mustang ran a stop sign on Road 16 and crashed into the side of the Honda.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel arrived and took the Honda driver to a hospital where he died. Authorities have not released the man’s name, only describing him as a male in his 50s.
 
As for the Mustang driver, he or she is expected to be okay.
 
Although drugs and alcohol do not appear to play a factor in this crash, an ongoing investigation should confirm more details. Those with insight should reach out to the California Highway Patrol.
