Driver Dies in Encinitas 2-Car Crash on Encinitas Boulevard

 
ENCINITAS, CA (November 8, 2021) — A driver died in a 2-car accident on Encinitas Boulevard near Balour Drive on Thursday, November 4.
 
According to a San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened around 7:15 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Tacoma collided in a broadside fashion. Due to the nature of the accident, the Corolla driver, who was trapped inside the car, died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, neither of the three victims in the Toyota Tacoma suffered any wounds.
 
At this time, police have much to investigate, including the cause of the accident. Although, they have ruled out impairment as a factor. Anyone with information on this fatal accident should contact the police.
