CHICO, CA (May 10, 2021) — A driver suffered an injury in a hit-and-run accident on Eaton Road and Esplanade.
 
According to the Chico Police Department, a Jeep crashed into a white SUV around 2:00 p.m. For possible DUI-related reasons, the Jeep driver fled the area, failing to render aid to the victim.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel responded and brought the SUV driver to a hospital with unknown injuries. Through search and investigations, detectives found the involved Jeep parked at Eaton Village apartments. Moments later, police arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.
