Collision Between Big Rig and Car on South Alameda Street in South LA Sends Driver to Hospital

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (May 17, 2022) – A driver was injured in a big rig accident on South Alameda Street in South Los Angeles on Saturday evening, May 7.
 
The accident happened just before 11:00 p.m. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, crews responded to reports of the collision in the 19000 block of South Alameda Street.
 
When they arrived, they found a BMW crushed underneath the big rig. Paramedics rescued the driver and took them to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
The condition of the big rig’s driver also remains unknown.
 
At this time, an investigation into this accident is underway.
