WILLITS, CA (January 10, 2022) – A driver fleeing police caused an accident on South Main Street on December 28.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Franklin Avenue around 3:12 PM.
 
Based on a report, the suspect was fleeing law enforcement in a Willits Safeway parking lot. Subsequently, the suspect struck at least six other vehicles.
 
As a result, one person suffered moderate injuries in the incident. In addition, the vehicles also sustained damage.
 
In the end, officers arrested the suspect. At this point, the CHP is still investigating the case. Also, no further details are currently available.
