Driver Killed, Car Crashes Into Rear of Big Rig on Bear Valley Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (January 19, 2023) — A driver died after a car crashed into the rear of a semi-truck on Bear Valley Road near Seventh Avenue.
 
According to the Victorville Fire Department, the deadly two-vehicle crash happened around 8:04 p.m. Tuesday in front of the Food 4 Less grocery store. For unknown reasons, a Tesla driver slammed into the rear of a semi-truck. Arriving authorities found the dark-colored Tesla lodged underneath the rear of the trailer and the trailer’s back wheels lifted off the asphalt.
 
The driver of the Tesla died at the scene, and authorities have yet to inform the victim’s loved ones.
 
Information surrounding what led to the crash appears ambiguous. Although according to a witness, that person did not hear the sound of brakes prior to the impact. If anyone has more information, please reach out to the authorities.
