Driver Crashes Into Patrol Car on Western Avenue After Hollywood Police Pursuit

 
HOLLYWOOD, CA (May 18, 2022) — A driver crashed into a police car on Western Avenue at Highway 101 after a police chase on Monday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the police chase took officers through Alhambra, Boyle Heights, downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood.
 
After locating a driver in a stolen vehicle, Los Angeles police pursued the suspect. However, the suspect failed to comply and led LAPD on a 20-minute pursuit.
 
Upon reaching the city of Hollywood, a police vehicle approached the stolen car before the woman reversed and slammed into the vehicle. Subsequently, the woman surrendered without incident.
