Pursuit Crash near Bell Avenue and Otis Avenue Leads to Driver’s Arrest in Bell

 
BELL, CA (January 17, 2022) – The police arrested a driver following a pursuit crash near Bell Avenue and Otis Avenue in Bell.
 
The incident happened on Friday, January 7 at about 11:00 p.m. Based on reports, a driver was operating an SUV at high speeds in the Vernon area while several police vehicles are pursuing it.
 
As the police chase entered the area of Bell, the SUV struck another vehicle in an intersection of Bell and Otis avenues. The vehicle subsequently launched into the air and then hit a tree.
 
As the man driving exited the SUV, police officers swiftly arrested him. Reports indicated that the man was able to walk without support. However, the extent of his injuries was not immediately clear. His name was also not immediately available.
