Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on 15 Freeway at Main Street

 
BARSTOW, CA (January 11, 2023) – Drew Ramey was hit and killed by a vehicle in Barstow Sunday evening on January 8.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:27 p.m. on 15 Freeway overpass at Main Street. According to the Barstow Police Department, Ramey was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
The impact caused Ramey fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was 39 years old from Barstow.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
