Coroner Identifies Donald Greco as Pedestrian Killed by Motorist in Palm Springs

 
PALM SPRINGS, CA (August 8, 2021) – Donald Greco was killed in a pedestrian accident in Palm Springs Wednesday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:30 a.m. on August 4, off of North Sunrise Way just south of East Vista Chino Drive. According to the Palm Springs Police Department, the 59-year-old man from Palm Springs was walking in a crosswalk when a vehicle struck him.
 
Police and fire personnel arrived within three minutes of the report and pronounced Greco dead at the scene.
 
The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
