Donald Foley Dies in Grass Valley Motorcycle Crash near Cascade Crossing Road and Combie Road

 
GRASS VALLEY, CA (August 22, 2022) — Donald Foley died in a motorcycle accident near Cascade Crossing Road and Combie Road on Sunday.
 
According to the Grass Valley Police Department, the fatal motorcycle crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, 61-year-old Foley was traveling at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.
 
Subsequently, his motorcycle went off the road and crashed through a series of rocks. Due to the impact, the motorcycle landed on top of him.
 
Responding authorities and paramedics found the Colfax man with fatal injuries.
 
At this time, investigators do not suspect alcohol or drugs to have played a factor in the accident. However, an ongoing investigation into the crash should reveal more information.
