FONTANA, CA (March 8, 2021) – Police arrested Dina Mariesol Mora Martinez after a fatal DUI accident early Sunday morning.
The accident happened around 1:50 a.m., March 7 on Valley Boulevard near Cypress Avenue.
Martinez, a 34-year-old Adelanto resident, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado in the wrong direction on Valley Boulevard at an unknown speed. At the same time, a 23-year-old Cathedral City woman was driving a red 2016 Toyota Corolla west on Valley Boulevard.
The Colorado collided head-on with the Toyota sedan, ejecting one passenger in the Toyota. As a result, that passenger suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
