Diego Tzoy-Lux Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Hesperian Boulevard [Hayward, CA]

Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle at Hesperian Boulevard and Panama Street

 
HAYWARD, CA (January 16, 2022) – Diego Tzoy-Lux was killed in a pedestrian accident in Hayward on Thursday two weeks ago.
 
The accident happened shortly before 6:15 a.m. on January 6 at the intersection of Hesperian Boulevard and Panama Street. According to the Hayward Police Department, Tzoy-Lux was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
When officers arrived, they found the victim lying in the roadway and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Tzoy-Lux was a 21-year-old San Mateo resident, authorities said.
 
The driver involved stayed on scene and cooperated with investigators.
