Los Angeles County Motorcycle Deputy Chad Perrigo Hospitalized after Santa Clarita Accident

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (April 30, 2021) – Los Angeles County motorcycle deputy Chad Perrigo suffered serious injuries following an accident involving a big rig on Creekside Road, Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the incident happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. The big rig reportedly made a left turn in front of the deputy and collided head-on with the motorcycle near McBean Parkway.
 
Emergency crews rushed the deputy to a hospital with severe injuries. As per reports, he remains in critical but stable condition.

The big rig driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Responders temporarily closed a portion of Creekside Road between McBean Parkway and Valencia Boulevard to make way for an investigation.
