Demetrio Paz Killed in Hit-and-Run on Central Avenue [Los Angeles, CA]

62-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck by Two Vehicles in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 20, 2021) – Demetrio Bravo Paz was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the Green Meadows area of Los Angeles Friday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 10:30 p.m. on September 17, on Central Avenue south of 112th Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Paz was crossing Central Avenue when a northbound vehicle struck him. The driver did not stop to render aid.
 
A second northbound vehicle also struck him, but that driver remained at the scene.
 
Paz suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was 62-years-old, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
 
Authorities offer a reward of up to $50,000 for people who provide information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the hit-and-run suspect.
