David Stubbers Involved in Fatal DUI Accident on Highway 101 in Rohnert Park

 
ROHNERT PARK, CA (October 19, 2021) – Police arrested David Stubbers following a fatal DUI accident on southbound Highway 101 on October 15.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Golf Course Drive at approximately 4:45 AM.
 
Based on an initial report, a Ford Edge was headed northbound in the southbound no. 3 lane of the highway prior to the time of the crash. Subsequently, it struck a southbound Mazda 3 head-on.
 
As a result, emergency crews needed to extricate the driver of the Mazda from the vehicle.
 
They brought the victim to the hospital, where the patient died due to severe injuries. Officials only identified the deceased as a 23-year-old male motorist.
 
Officers also rushed the Ford driver, 26-year-old David Stubbers of San Diego to a hospital. At that point, they determined him to be under the influence. Later on, police booked him into the Sonoma County Jail on felony DUI charges. An investigation is ongoing.
