David Kessinger Dies in Motorcycle Crash on 80 Freeway near Riverside Avenue

 
PLACER COUNTY, CA (December 2, 2021) — David Kessinger died in a motorcycle accident on the 80 Freeway near Riverside Avenue Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle crash happened around 11:20 a.m. For unknown reasons, 43-year-old Kessinger lost control of his motorcycle as he was traveling eastbound with a group.
 
As a result, his motorcycle left the road and struck a sign, causing him to be ejected from his bike. Meanwhile, his motorcycle continued for another 200 feet from where the impact occurred.
 
Soon after, emergency medical personnel responded and pronounced the Lincoln man deceased at the scene.
 
At this time, authorities are waiting for the toxicology report to determine if DUI played a factor.
