David Goodman Hurt, Robert Lomack Jr. Detained in DUI Head-On Accident on Tomales Petaluma Road near Twin Bridge Road
WEST MARIN, CA (May 27, 2022) — David Goodman suffered major injuries in a DUI head-on crash on Tomales Petaluma Road near Twin Bridge Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. For DUI reasons, 27-year-old Robert Chevoi Dauvgnnte Lomack, Jr. allowed his westbound Honda SUV to cross over the double yellow lines. Subsequently, the Honda struck an eastbound BMW motorcycle, driven by Goodman.
Soon after, paramedics responded and airlifted Goodman to Santa Rosa Memorial for treatment of major yet non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities arrested Lomack on suspicion of DUI and brought him to Petaluma Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
At this time, the crash requires additional investigation. Therefore, anyone with information should contact the CHP.
