Darren Rodgers Killed in Motorcycle Accident on 605 Freeway [Irwindale, CA]

Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Pickup Truck on 605 Freeway at Lower Azusa Road

 
IRWINDALE, CA (November 22, 2022) – Darren Rodgers died in a motorcycle accident on 605 Freeway in Irwindale late Sunday afternoon on November 20.
 
The accident happened around 5:39 p.m. at Lower Azusa Road. According to the CHP, Rodgers was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a pickup truck.
 
As a result, Rodgers suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was 57 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
 
The crash temporarily shut down three lanes on the freeway, as well as the on-ramp, the CHP reported.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. Further investigation is underway.
