Daniel Boyd Involved in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on 15 Freeway in Fallbrook

 
FALLBROOK, CA (September 23, 2021) – Police identified Daniel Boyd as the victim who died in a motorcycle crash on 15 Freeway on September 15.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Highway 76 around 11:30 AM.
 
Based on an initial report, the victim was headed south on the highway, past Highway 76 at the time of the crash. To avoid traffic, he switched lanes. Subsequently, he rear-ended a tractor-trailer in front of his motorcycle.
 
As a result, the victim sustained major injuries in the incident. Officers said paramedics took him to a hospital, where he died. The Medical Examiner’s identified him as Daniel Robert Boyd, 36, a Riverside resident.
 
As of now, no other details are available. In addition, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
