LAFAYETTE, CA (December 30, 2021) — Daneen Allenkiester died days after a DUI accident on St. Marys Road at Glenside Drive.
 
According to Lafayette Police, the fatal 2-car accident happened around 10:47 a.m. For DUI-related reasons, 56-year-old Allenkiester crashed into another car. Soon after, emergency personnel reached the scene and brought the Lafayette woman to a hospital with major injuries. Meanwhile, paramedics tended to two people in the other vehicle who suffered minor wounds.
