Dale Dykes, Miguel Contreras Hurt in Single-Car Crash on Rancho Tehama Road near Stagecoach Road

 
RANCHO TEHAMA, CA (December 13, 2021) — Dale Lee Dykes and Miguel Contreras suffered injuries in a solo-car accident on Rancho Tehama Road near Stagecoach Road on December 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car accident happened around 7:10 p.m. For unknown reasons, 33-year-old Contreras lost control of his eastbound Oldsmobile. Subsequently, the sedan collided with a guardrail along a curve and stopped near Stagecoach Road.
 
As a result, 28-year-old Dykes of Corning suffered major injuries and was taken to Enloe Medical Center in Chico. Meanwhile, paramedics tended to 33-year-old Contreras’ minor injuries.
 
At this point, officers have not confirmed if DUI factors into this crash. However, anyone with more information on this accident should contact the CHP.
