Daisy Ojeda Injured in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 [Salida, CA]

Daisy Ojeda Hurt, Juel Alston and Richard Woodward Uninjured in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Highway 99 near Kiernan Avenue

 
SALIDA, CA (April 5, 2021) — Daisy Ojeda was injured in a fatal pedestrian crash on Highway 99 near Kiernan Avenue Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 2:25 a.m. For unknown reasons, a 59-year-old pedestrian was walking in the far-right lane of the southbound highway. Subsequently, 23-year-old Ojeda slammed into him with her southbound 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
 
Shortly after, 59-year-old Juel Alston struck the victim with his 2021 Freightliner before an oncoming 2006 Toyota, driven by 47-year-old Richard Woodward, struck the man.
 
As a result of the accident, the pedestrian died from his wounds. At this time, his name has not been released, only his residence of Grover Beach.
 
As for those injured, Ojeda sustained major injuries and the other two drivers dodged harm.
