Crystal Christman Uninjured, Object Punctures Windshield on Highway 145 near Highway 41

 
FRIANT, CA (November 21, 2022) Crystal Christman escaped injury when an object came loose off a truck and crashed into her windshield on Highway 145 near Highway 41.
 
According to reports, the incident happened Saturday as Christman drove herself to work. For some reason, an object described as a wooden plank came loose off a white pickup truck that had just passed her. Subsequently, the wooden plank struck her SUV’s front bumper and hood before piercing a hole into her windshield. The object then struck the center console just inches away from her.
 
Reports noted that she was heading eastbound on Highway 145 when the incident occurred.
 
Fortunately, Christman reported no injuries in the incident. As for the truck, it did not stop and continued traveling.
 
At this time, California Highway Patrol needs witnesses’ help identifying the driver involved in this case. Those with information can reach out to the CHP.
 
Always make sure you secure all objects in your car. If you are towing or hauling items, use the straps and cords needed to keep your items together. Drivers should also be more defensive and not trail behind vehicles hauling heavy, dangerous gear. Switch lanes or pass up the driver.
