Cristian Sanchez Hospitalized, Carlos Lomeli Uninjured in Semi-Truck Crash on Highway 46 near Jardine Road

 
PASO ROBLES, CA (September 22, 2021) — Cristian Sanchez suffered injuries in Monday’s semi-truck accident on Highway 46 near Jardine Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 5:40 a.m. For unknown reasons, 67-year-old Carlos Lomeli neglected to see a 2019 Volkswagen MK VII driving toward his semi-truck.
 
Subsequently, Lomeli attempted a left turn from Jardine Road onto eastbound Highway 46. However, the westbound Volkswagen, driven by Sanchez, struck the 2019 Freightliner, despite evasive efforts.
 
As a result, Sanchez suffered minor injuries while Lomeli was unharmed.
 
At this time, investigators have not confirmed the liability. However, anyone with more information should contact the Templeton CHP office.
