Cory Hunter Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 91 Freeway [Corona, CA]

21-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on 91 Freeway near Serfas Club Drive

 
CORONA, CA (May 24, 2023) – Cory Hunter was killed in a pedestrian accident in Corona early Sunday morning on May 21.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 3:00 a.m. on 91 Freeway, just west of Serfas Club Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, Hunter was struck by a vehicle while walking along the eastbound freeway.
 
When officers arrived, they found Hunter lying on the freeway with fatal injuries. They pronounce him dead at the scene.
 
Hunter was 21 years old from Corona, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
The CHP is still investigating the fatality.
