Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Grand Avenue in Walnut
WALNUT, CA (December 2, 2022) — A college employee died in a pedestrian accident on Grand Avenue near San Jose Hills Road Thursday morning.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. In the 1100 block of North Grand Avenue, a driver reportedly struck an employee who worked at Mt. San Antonio College. Authorities believe the act was intentional.
Soon after, deputies responded to find the man in his 60s unresponsive and with trauma before paramedics pronounced him dead. As for the driver involved, emergency personnel brought that individual to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries before police performed an arrest.
