Colin Volpe Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Blackstone Avenue near Holland Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (November 10, 2022) — Colin Volpe died in a pedestrian accident on Blackstone Avenue near Holland Avenue.
 
According to Fresno Police, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a white van struck 41-year-old Volpe, who was on the road at the time.
 
At some point after the first impact, a second vehicle, believed to be a silver car, struck Volpe.
 
Soon after, Fresno Police responded to the scene and investigated. Police believe Volpe was walking in an eastbound direction into the southbound lanes at the time.
 
Despite efforts to swerve to avoid the incident, the van driver struck him.
